What you'll do The Medical Assistant I is a healthcare professional who supports clinicians and other medical staff by performing clinical duties during the patient encounter. Displays ownership of the entire patient experience, including but not limited to, rooming of patient, collection of vitals, complete and accurate phone messages, chart preparation, medication refills and the abstracting of external records Raises up emergent situations or expressed patient problems directly to RN, Supervising Nurse or Practitioner for assistance.
