Minimum Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent • Experience with blood draws, injections, rooming patients, med refills, etc. • CMA certification from the NHA, NAHP, AAMA, or NCCT Preferred qualifications: • One-year experience as a Certified Medical Assistant in a clinical setting • Spanish bilingual, fluent Environmental Conditions: Works in a well-lit, heated, and ventilated building. Exposure of blood borne pathogens may be high risk. Physical Requirements: Full range of body motion including lifting and handling patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. This position requires standing and walking for extensive periods. Also, it requires correct vision and hearing to normal ranges. Occasionally lifts and carries up to 25 pounds.
