The Primary Care Medical Assistant will provide effective customer service for all internal and external customers by using excellent, in-depth knowledge as well as communicating effectively with team members. What You Will Do: Clinical: Triage patients by checking and recording vitals, collect and record pertinent clinical history and all other information deemed necessary for proper charting in the EMS Prepare exam and treatment rooms for patient intake Assists primary care provider in patient assessments, examinations, and minor procedures Observe patients, charting, reporting changes in patients’ conditions, such as adverse reactions to medication or treatment and taking any necessary action Perform lab testing and phlebotomy.
