Responsibilities Basic patient care: help patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) like bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating Vital signs monitoring: take and record blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, respiratory rate, and oxygen saturation Mobility assistance: help patients get in and out of bed, walk, or use assistive devices.
