How you make a difference The Certified Medication Technician is responsible for administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with activities of daily living under the supervision of a registered nurse. This role ensures compliance with medication protocols and participates in audits and performance improvement activities. Responsibilities Chief Nursing Officer ESC Young Adult Center For over 35 years, Elizabeth Seton Children’s (ESC) has been a trailblazing provider of care and education for children and young adults with complex medical conditions and a beacon of hope for their families. ESC is pioneering the first ever facility designed to care for young adults with severe and chronic medical needs who have aged out of pediatric services. Reporting to the Administrator of the young adult center, the Chief Nursing Officer provides strategic and operational leadership to plan, organize and direct the daily operations in accordance with regulatory guidelines and standards. RESPONSIBILITIES Strategic Planning: Participate in ESC Strategic Planning Committee in partnership with the Board of Directors and be accountable to meeting the agreed upon metrics for monitoring success. Establish and implement an interdisciplinary vision that provides inventive, holistic care and education of unparalleled quality to transform the lives of young adults with medical complexities. Regulatory Compliance: Drive quality care by setting and upholding high standards of nursing practice, ensuring every young adult receives personalized, top-tier care in alignment with regulatory guidelines. Operational Leadership: In collaboration with Administrator and Chief Medical Officer, lead an interdisciplinary team in the development of an innovative care model that will include enhanced programming, clinical pathways and new staffing patterns for our young adult center. Be a voice for nursing by representing ESC in professional nursing organizations and committees advocating for excellence for young adults with medically complex conditions, presenting and publishing best practices at state and national conferences. Solve problems with compassion by addressing and resolving concerns from residents, families, and staff with empathy and professionalism. Focus on Quality and Safety: Lead a rigorous Just Safety Culture with accountability, empathy, and transparency. Review quality data to identify safety, infection control and regulatory trends to improve nursing practices. Collaborate across teams by working closely with other departments and community partners to enhance resident care and create opportunities for staff development. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral). Effective management skills necessary to organize direct and evaluate the activities of patient care off shift operations. Ability to apply and utilize the balanced scorecard measures (customer service, financial, innovation and growth, and performance improvement). Critical thinking and analytic skills necessary for problem solving and clinical decision-making. Public speaking experience and the ability to deliver impactful presentations. Nurse Practitioner - Neonatal Specialist

Overview Position Overview Legacy Health offers an exciting growth opportunity to join a well-established team of collaborative and energetic Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs). This role provides the opportunity to practice across both Level III and Level IV NICU settings within the Legacy system. NNPs are integral to delivery attendance and the medical management of high-risk neonates and infants, including daily rounding on NNP service patients. In addition to clinical care, the role includes telemedicine resuscitation coverage for Legacy Level I nursery sites and opportunities to contribute to non-clinical initiatives that support the highest standards of care for NICU patients and their families. Level IV NICU – Randall Children’s Hospital The Level IV, 45-bed NICU is located within Randall Children’s Hospital, a freestanding, nine-story pediatric facility. This unit provides comprehensive care supported by a full range of pediatric subspecialties, including cardiac and neurosurgical services, genetics, and ECMO. Care is delivered within a family-integrated model, supported by a dedicated pediatric transport team. Notably, this role does not require transport responsibilities. Level III NICU – Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center The Level III, 22-bed NICU at Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center is a growing unit actively expanding its NNP team. Scheduling is flexible and evolving, with 12-, 16-, and 24-hour shift options available to support work-life balance and team coverage. Scheduling & Practice Model This position is based in the Portland/Vancouver area and requires dual licensure in Oregon and Washington. NNPs rotate between both NICU sites, with frequency tailored to individual preferences while ensuring 24/7 coverage, including nights, weekends, and holidays. A well-established self-scheduling model and structured holiday tracks contribute to provider satisfaction and balance. The NNP’s are able to practice in an autonomous role utilizing technical procedural skills as well as essential decision making in the care of these patients. Nursing Care Support: The NNP team provide ongoing support to the nursing staff whether on the unit or through formal education opportunities. The NNP’s are key leaders in patient care projects that support both nursing care and medical management. Resuscitation: The NNP’s attend deliveries in person at each of the medical centers and via a telehealth support platform at the other level I nursery sites to provide a consistent high level of care for newborns throughout the Legacy system. Discharge Planning: The entire NICU team works to provide an integrated family care experience to enable families to care for their high-risk infants within the NICU setting and beyond. The NICU values input from all members of the team including dedicated neonatal RT’s, consultants from dietary, OT/PT, lactation, as well as the core nursing, medical and leadership staff. Qualifications Education: As required by licensure. Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience as an NICU Staff Nurse, Level III preferred. Licensure Current applicable state RN license required. National Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) required. Current applicable state license as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner with Prescriptive Privileges (NNP-PP) required. Credentialed by Legacy Medical Staff for Category I and II privileges. Completion of ECMO certification course preferred. NRP certification from the American Heart Association.
