The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) at Britelife Recovery plays a pivotal role in supporting the Director of Nursing and overseeing the nursing department's operations. The ADON ensures that clients receive high-quality, compassionate care tailored to their needs, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive treatment. Registered Nurse (RN) with a current and valid license in the state of practice. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with adequate experience. Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in nursing, preferably in addiction treatment or behavioral health. Experience working in a substance use treatment setting is strongly preferred. Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities. In-depth understanding of substance use disorders, evidence-based treatment approaches, and recovery principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse nursing team. Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements in healthcare and addiction treatment settings. Certification in addiction nursing or related field is a plus (e.g., CARN – Certified Addiction Registered Nurse) preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required. Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
