Provide education and support to individuals, families, and groups on topics such as disease prevention, wellness, and childbirth, while contributing to the development of health promotion initiatives. Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, families, and communities, including evaluation of home and work environments (role specific) to identify potential health or safety risks. Report patient status and any notable changes to the physician during procedures involving anesthesia. Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and their families to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and care plans.
