Focused exclusively on neurology patients, the team provides a seamless, specialized care journey from initial surgical preparation through immediate recovery within a space built specifically to advance neuro care. Caring for a diverse adult neurology population, the unit manages a full spectrum of surgical needs, from same-day procedures to high-acuity post-operative recovery. Nurses are equipped with critical care competencies to support complex cases, while pediatric neurology patients are cared for in collaboration with specialized pediatric nurses. Close partnership with the Operating Room and PACU teams ensures a highly coordinated, team-based approach, supported by strong leadership and shared governance. This forward-thinking unit offers a unique opportunity to be part of a collaborative team dedicated to delivering expert neuro care across the entire perioperative experience. A caregiver in this role will work from 5:30am to 6:00pm with required call rotation. On call is: 1 24 hour call on a Saturday or Sunday, 2 weeknights (11pm-7am), and 3 lates per 6 week schedule.
