The Neonatal ICU is a 83-bed Level III critical care facility that provides acute medical, nursing, and respiratory care to critically ill infants; the majority of NICU admissions come from within Magee, however, we do also regularly take transports from other regional hospitals. About the Unit: 8D is a 17-bed acuity adaptable neurosurgical unit, primarily caring for adults with brain tumor, spinal cord injury, head injury, and stroke.
