If working at the Patient Service Center, the MA provides other duties over the telephone. Minimum Requirements A Medical Assistant certificate, along with a high school diploma or equivalent required. A minimum of 1 year of experience as a back office Medical Assistant preferred in the outpatient setting, medical practice, or clinic setting. Phlebotomy certified preferred Nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification, preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese, depending on location, strongly preferred.
