Job Description The Adult Infusion Centers at Mt. Zion and Mission Bay service the Medical Oncology population at UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center as well as any non-oncology infusion needs of patients at UCSF. The treatments include but are not limited to chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, blood transfusions, hydration and electrolyte therapy, injections and blood draws, enzymes and iron infusions, and antibiotics. The centers collectively consist of over 100 chairs/beds and treatments include research and standard of care infusions. The infusion centers are staffed by Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Medical Assistants, and Practice Coordinators. The Outpatient Infusion Clinical Nurse II delivers direct patient care to an assigned adult infusion outpatient population. California’s annual weather patterns vary tremendously based on what region you’re in. The northern part of the state has more rain than the southern, and the further inland you go, the more you can expect hot, dry summers and chilly winters. Southern California has a Mediterranean climate and boasts the warmest temperatures in the state. The weather along the coast is fairly consistent throughout the year.
For all it offers, California has an extremely high cost of living. Residents pay a lot of money for energy, gas, and insurance, and a housing shortage has further strained their pockets. The upside? Nursing professionals here earn some of the country’s highest salaries.
