Performs administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, processing prior authorizations, messages, telephone calls, referrals etc. May perform office procedures including but not limited to CLIA waived point of care testing, EKG, and phlebotomy as ordered by a medical provider. Performs all other duties as required. *All agency staff are required to attend all mandatory department/agency meetings and trainings* Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm. Requirements High school graduate with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a behavioral health care setting or Medical Assistant training with two years of Community/Behavioral Health Care experience. Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with EHRs preferred. Bilingual highly preferred. This employee would be expected to divide their 40 hours between a three outpatient locations within Hartford and East Hartford.
