Overview JOB SUMMARY The role encompasses the management of the cardiac catheterization lab patient through implementation of the nursing process, supervision of licensed and unlicensed personnel, and coordination of interdisciplinary care. Must exude a strong understanding of and enforce CLIA, OSHA and HIPAA regulations as well as report and help document any incidents to the respective office management. Properly cross trains to assist in covering the front desk during emergencies, as needed. Responsibilities The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
