Experience Required 2 years minimum Labor & Delivery experience as an RN required. Education Requirements Graduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing. License/Certification Requirements Current NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse); Current American Heart Association BLS Certification (Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers); certain specialties may require advanced certification (i.e. ACLS, NALS, PALS). Special Requirements Per diem, 7am-7pm, Weekends/holidays with rotation. Level Two Pool Work Requirements : Nurses shall work at least three (3) weekend shifts per six (6) week schedule, and six other shifts per six (6) week schedule, which must include four(4) holiday shifts per year (two (2) winter and two (2) summer). Under the direction of the Nurse Manager/Clinical Director, plans, directs, organizes, coordinates, and evaluates overall clinical and administrative activities of an assigned nursing unit. In the absence of the Nurse Manager/Clinical Director, assumes ultimate responsibility for staff oversight and the care of patients on a nursing unit.
