Resposibilties The CNA maintains a "homelike environment for the residents, protects and promotes Resident Rights and assists the person to maintain independence and control to the greatest extent possible. Provides direct care to residents to improve or maintain the resident’s abilities Follows all facility policies and procedures including those related to infection control. Records accurate, legible information about resident care and condition in appropriate sections of residents’ records. Communicates with Unit Charge Nurse about assigned residents regularly throughout shift. Monitors physical environment for safety or fire hazards and corrects or reports potential problems 
Certified Nursing Assistant Instructor (RN) - New Jersey We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant Instructor (RN) for our program in New Jersey. The ideal candidate must be certified and accredited to the state. INDOP Position Summary : The purpose of this position is to render professional nursing care to residents; to follow facility policies and procedures to implement treatment orders; to assess resident treatment needs and take appropriate action; to maintain residents’ medical records; and to participate in supervision of care provided to residents. Experience and Education : Applied Associate, Diploma or Bachelors degree from an accredited school of nursing or institute; and one year of LTC /Skilled experience. Must have a Registered Nurse’s License current, with no judgments against it, in the state in which he/she is practicing. Must be BLS and CPR certified. A minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience, preferably in geriatrics.
