Qualifications/Desired Experience: Active and unrestricted RN license required Minimum of one year of hands-on pediatric nursing experience, especially with medically complex children Proficiency in NG-tube care and feeding (not G-tube) Strong ability to safely lift, transfer, and transport a non-ambulatory child (approximately 24 lbs) Capable of overseeing care and safety protocols during bus rides Comfortable working independently in a school environment and adapting to changing needs Essential Responsibilities: Deliver dedicated 1:1 nursing care and monitoring throughout the school day Manage NG-tube feedings and any related medical interventions Safely lift, reposition, and transport student as needed, ensuring well-being and dignity Collaborate with school staff and transportation personnel to support the students needs during transit Maintain clear and accurate health documentation Effectively communicate with parents, educators, and other professionals involved in care This is a rewarding opportunity to guide and support a child with complex medical needs in a nurturing educational setting.
