Summary We are currently looking for a Nurse Resident RN I for our 4 North Unit. This 24 bed unit provides a dynamic working environment that cares for Hematology and Medical Oncology patients. Our nursing staff provides knowledgeable and skilled care within a unique interdisciplinary team. RNs are trained and competent to care for patients on telemetry, receiving chemotherapy, and undergoing Clinical Trials. To support our nursing staff, Moffitt Cancer Center continues to offer Radiation safety and chemotherapy competency education, along with quarterly workshops. Position Highlights The Registered Nurse delivers individualized quality nursing care to cancer patients and families in accordance with established hospital guidelines, nursing professional practice model, nursing care standards and policies and in accordance with ANA code of ethics and external regulatory agencies. All Nurse Residents will be required to sign a Commitment Agreement, agreeing to work for a minimum of two (2) years in the Cancer Center as a Registered Nurse in good working standards complying with all polices and protocols of the Cancer Center. In the event the employee does not successfully complete the Nurse Residency Program or thereafter the commitment of two (2) full years of employment in the Cancer Center after completion of the program, employee agrees to refund the Cancer Center a pro-rated amount of the cost for the program.
