Gillette Children's is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider to join the Orthopedic department team to provide both inpatient and outpatient care. Purpose of position The advanced practice provider (APRN, CNP or PA-C) provides clinical care to patients in a family-centered model with complex acute, critical and chronic health care conditions, advises patients on health maintenance and disease prevention, and/or provides skilled assistance in navigation of the health care system as appropriate to the developmental, cultural, emotional, and medical, surgical, or rehabilitative needs of the patient and their families. The APP role in Orthopedics – Inpatient/Outpatient Services encompasses the following components: Independent and collaborative management of a range of orthopedic concerns with a focus on orthopedic trauma, peri-operative and inpatient management of patients undergoing orthopedic procedures on extremities Inpatient and outpatient role. In collaboration with the physician(s), advanced practice practitioners and managers, the advanced practice provider assesses, plans, and implements the evaluation and follow-up of patient care. Compensation and Benefits The annual salary range for this opportunity is $113,880 to $170,830, with a median salary of $142,355.
