RN Unit Manager Job Summary: Brookside Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, a premier long-term care facility in Abignton, Pennsylvania, is seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Unit Manager to join our team. As a Unit Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional care to our residents. Under the direction of the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our unit and providing compassionate care to our residents. Shift Type: Full-time ( Monday thru Friday) Benefits : · A competitive salary and benefits program · Health Insurance · Dental Insurance · Vision Insurance · Paid Time Off · 401K · Life Insurance Responsibilities: · Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care · Assess signs and symptoms indicating changes in the patient's condition · Document the patient's plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses, expected patient outcomes, and selected nursing interventions · Perform interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, and hospital policies and patient care outcome standards · Revises the plan of care according to evaluation, changes in medical plan of care, and effective/ineffective nursing interventions · Uses clinical judgment in evaluation activities to meet patient care needs of an assigned unit/floor, including establishing priorities · On-call rotation Qualifications: · Must be a licensed RN with a valid license · Must have at least 2 years of experience as a Unit Manager in Long-term care · Familiarity with Federal, State, and local long-term care requirements · Long-term care experience · Point Click Care (PCC) knowledge · Excellent communication skills About Us: At Brookside Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, we believe that all of our residents, their family members, and our team of professionals are special. Position Summary: The primary purpose of the position is to complete the Resident Assessment Instrument (“RAI”) process in accordance with the requirements of State and Federal law as well as the policies and goals of this Community. Education/Qualifications: Active, unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse license in the State of practice. Must have an active CPR or BLS Certification. Must possess intermediate computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including electronic health record software.
