Obtains appropriate input and direction from Axia provider, as needed, to determine the best clinical course of action and recommendations for specific patient care. Educates patients and families about prescribed follow ups, medications, therapies, and teaches self-injection techniques as needed. Follows policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure consistency and departmental effectiveness as well as to improve healthcare outcomes of patients. Assist, as needed, with phone triage. Assists with medication refill requests. Performs phlebotomy. Qualities & Skills: Computer skills and knowledge of EMR. Comfortability performing phlebotomy.
