Obtains venipuncture laboratory specimens in accordance with best practice. Coordination, and collaboration of care for patients to ensure care is provided in a safe, effective fashion. Incorporates evidence-based nursing practice taking into consideration current statutes, rules and regulations when developing the plan of care. Patient Outcomes and Quality Improvement. Collaborates with patients and families to set realistic, measurable outcomes. Participates in quality improvement strategies and to improve care quality and efficiency. Implements interventions in a safe, timely, appropriate manner and escalates the patient to higher level of care if indicated. Professional Practice Evaluation.
