The Forensic Nurse applies a trauma-informed approach to accurately assess the medical-legal needs of these patients, collaborating with the health team to coordinate care, anticipate nursing intervention outcomes, and set criteria for quality care. Crucially, this position demands mobility and adaptability as the RN will travel to and provide services at various hospital facilities within the system to meet patient needs. Job Description Position Summary: As a Clinical Nurse III in our Non-Invasive Cardiology department at Cedars-Sinai, you will be integral in delivering exceptional nursing care to patients with a range of cardiovascular conditions. Key Responsibilities: - Provide expert nursing care to patients undergoing non-invasive cardiology procedures, including TEEs, Cardioversions and stress tests. - Conduct thorough patient assessments, including acquiring medical histories, vital signs, and interpreting diagnostic results effectively. - Prepare patient for procedure, assist Physicians during procedure and recover patients after the procedure. - Collaborate closely with cardiologists and healthcare providers to develop personalized care plans, ensuring the best possible patient outcomes. - Assist in the coordination and execution of non-invasive cardiology procedures while upholding a safe and sterile environment. - Mentor and support junior nursing staff, fostering their professional growth and development. - Engage in quality improvement initiatives, research projects, and clinical trials aimed at enhancing patient care in cardiology.
