Their spacious unit allows personalized and state-of-the-art obstetric, post-partum, and well-baby care. The role includes hospital-based coverage 24/7 at St. Joseph Hospital. The pediatric APP will be responsible for the primary care of a caseload of well-babies, attend high-risk deliveries, serve as team leader in neonatal resuscitations and stabilization of sick infants awaiting transfer. Successful candidates will have experience with pediatrics, in either an inpatient or outpatient setting, and ideally will have experience attending high-risk deliveries and providing initial stabilization in the immediate postnatal period. Collaborate to design and implement a plan of care with the interdisciplinary team including Physicians, Physician Assistants, and other health professionals. Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and vaccines, perform point-of-care testing, and collect and handle specimens within the scope of practice as determined by the Nurse Practice Act of the appropriate state. Educates patient on self-management activities, medications, nutrition, health, and wellness based on the plan of care designed collaboratively with Provider(s). Who You Are: Current NH Registered Nursing (RN) licensure is required. Certifications: Current BLS/CPR training. Prior work experience in a healthcare setting is required. Epic experience, is a plus!
