Coordinates care with hospitalists, primary care physicians and care managers. Makes home visits as directed by the medical staff to meet patient needs and provide continuity of care. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Maintains privileges in multiple Nursing Homes as directed by ACA Maintains license and malpractice insurance Consults supervising attending as needed Documents patient visits electronically at least 90% of the time Participates in documentation and other quality improvement programs Available via phone weekdays 8am- 7pm and when on call. RN-Oncology (Full-time, Day shift)

$47.30 - $70.90 / hour
What You'll Be Doing To deliver nursing care to adult and geriatric patients utilizing the nursing process. Functions as a professional nurse and delegates patient care to those under his/her supervision. What We're Looking For EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. EXPERIENCE: Previous medical/surgical-oncology experience preferred. LICENSURE/QUALIFICATIONS: Current license to practice professional nursing in New Jersey. Completion of I.V. certification, Phlebotomy certification and Chemotherapy competency as per hospital policy. Maintain current American Heart Association certification in Basic Life Support for the Health Care Provider and maintain current American Heart Association certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support. (BLS,ACLS) Recertification is required every two years. Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification required Full-time, Day shift. Monday to Friday 8- hour shift; will cover Radiation Oncology as needed
