Experience in both oncology and triage nursing is strongly preferred for this role. However, candidates with triage experience in other specialties will also be considered. Seeking Patient Navigator positionsupporting the Head/Neck/Thoracic Medical Oncology Team, which specializes in caring for patients with diagnoses including lung cancer, mesothelioma, esophageal cancer, thyroid and salivary gland tumors, adrenocortical carcinomas, peripheral nerve sheath tumors, cutaneous malignancies, and sarcomas. This role will begin with developing a strong understanding and confidence in the RN triage function, with the expectation that the nurse will progressively expand into patient navigation responsibilities as they grow within the practice. The regional Women’s Health office provides pregnancy care, conceptual and infertility counseling, care during and after pregnancy, gynecologic care such as treatment for abnormal bleeding, fibroids endometriosis. Our team also provides family planning services including birth control counseling and prescriptions. We offer preventive care including annual physical exams, screening for breast and cervical cancer, screening and treatment for sexually transmitted infections and breast care. We also provide services for menstrual problems, perimenopause and menopause treatment, breastfeeding support, incontinence treatment and sexual health counseling.
