Description Maine Medical Center Nursing Req #: 74144 This is a Bargaining Unit Position Job Posting Date: 04/16/2026 Part Time/Days (27 hours per week) This is a Clinical Nurse II vacancy open to candidates with greater than 1 year of RN work experience The Interventional Radiology nursing team isresponsible for 3 procedure rooms and an 8 bed pre/post unit forthose requiring pre nursing observation. This position has an On-call Requirement with a response time of 30 minutes IMC, PACU, or Interventional Radiology experience preferred. Critical Care experience strongly preferred. The R6 patient population includes adults and older adolescents with neurological and orthopedic conditions including closed head injuries, strokes, brain tumors, seizure disorders, multi-traumas, and conditions requiring neurosurgical intervention. RNs providing care in the R6 IMC demonstrate astute assessment and critical thinking skills, as patients in IMC often have multi-system issues that require telemetry monitoring, intra-cranial pressure monitoring, medication drips, frequent intervention, or other higher acuity care needs. The Bean 2 patient population consists of adults who have undergone joint replacement surgeries. This unit serves as the Joint Center for our nationally recognized and Joint Commission accredited joint replacement program.
