Communicates to Circulating RN and surgeons breaks in technique. e - In conjunction with the RN, conducts accurate sponge, needle and instruments count according to departmental policies. f - Performs surgical scrub according to departmental policies. g - Assists in the positioning of patients under the guidance of the RN and surgeon as needed. Does this position require Patient Care? Yes Essential Functions Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care, counseling, and education to a designated inpatient oncology population. Perform comprehensive histories and physical examinations to support timely clinical assessment and care planning. Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic studies to guide clinical decision-making. Develop and implement individualized plans of care and follow-up based on diagnostic results, physical examination findings, and patient needs. Prescribe medications and manage treatments in accordance with organizational policies, clinical standards, and regulatory requirements. Complete accurate, timely, and high-quality documentation, including admission notes, progress notes, procedure notes, and discharge summaries. Perform bedside procedures appropriate to the patient population, scope of practice, and clinical setting.
