Reports safety hazards and unusual incidents involving patients, visitors or self to the Supervising Nurse and to the o ffice. Performs the following, provided that he/she has been trained, demonstrated competency and it is within the RAH policy and state law; colostomy care, wound care, catheter care and medication administration. The Certified Medication tech will NOT perform any of the following: taking or transcribing physician orders activities outside the Scope of Practice for CMT as outlined in the State Practice Act.
