Performs psychiatric intakes, evaluations, and prescribes medications. Educates patients about medication risks, benefits, and side effects; monitors progress and efficacy. Coordinates with primary care and other providers for referrals, feedback, and ongoing care. Maintains accurate records using computerized systems for documentation and coding.
