What You Need to Know This RN Case Manager is responsible for managing patients' care plans from admission through discharge and for ensuring the delivery of quality patient care. The position combines direct and indirect patient care activities and directs staff nurses, LPNs, and CHHAs in delivering the individual patient’s plan of care, as well as identifying interdisciplinary needs and coordinating allied health clinicians. Scheduled Hours 40 Position Summary The NP or PA in Hepatobiliary, Pancreatic, and Gastrointestinal Surgery will join a collaborative team of APPs. Responsibilities include managing inpatient services and discharges, coordinating long-term patient care, and collaborating with residents and students. In the clinic, works alongside HPB attendings to provide specialized care. Provides primary and/or specialty nursing and/or medical care in a variety of settings; works under physician oversight as required by state regulation.
