Overview Responsible for the clinical and operational management, ensuring that standards of practice for nursing and patient care are maintained; participates in developing departmental plans and programs as required; collects and provides data on unit activities, PI issues, etc. as required. Participates in continuous quality improvement efforts by identifying care delivery issues and implementing evidence-based solutions. Investigates patient and staff incidents; ensures follow-up and compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., DOH, Joint Commission, VFC). Maintains accurate and timely documentation and reports in compliance with administrative, clinical, and regulatory requirements. Communicates key organizational updates and strategic priorities to outpatient nursing staff.
