Overview Our Academic Medical Center has expanded to meet the inpatient psychiatric care needs of adolescent patients in our rural New England region. Our six-bed Adolescent Medical Psychiatric Care unit provides specialized, patient-and-family centered care for adolescents ages 12-17. The interdisciplinary team supports patients through comprehensive assessment, individualized treatment planning, psychiatric care, and evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and family therapy. We are seeking an LNA passionate about supporting adolescents during a critical time in their lives. Job Requirements Job Knowledge and Skills Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) required Basic Dysrhythmia preferred or obtained prior to completion of orientation Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training preferred or obtained prior to completion of orientation Education and Experience Current New Hampshire RN license Completion of the Nursing Residency Program within 18 months of hire. This program consists of a unit specific nursing orientation full time, in addition to one year classroom/SIMS education, and extended mentorship.
