Position Summary To assist surgeons and registered nurses by performing routine, technical, and related duties during surgical operations. To provide safe and competent care to all patients in a variety of age groups and function effectively with a variety of patient physical and emotional disabilities. To be responsible for the daily cleaning and processing of equipment, providing for the between case turnover by removing, cleaning, and decontamination of equipment used by the team, and ensuring clean equipment for each procedure. Be the resource person for assigned specialty including, but not limited to, tray inventory, maintenance of specialty instruments, supplies, ordering of instruments and MD requests. Education High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a formal accredited Surgical Technology Program or military training required. Skills CST and member of the Association of Surgical Technologist preferred. CPR Certification required. Psychiatrist needed / Part time Detention center in Brooklyn Job Description/Scope of Work: We are looking for a psychiatrist to join the Health Services Department at a detention center in Brooklyn. The Psychiatrist will conduct examinations on patients scheduled by the institution's medical staff. Responsibilities include conducting psychiatric evaluations and making referral recommendations for inmates. Each workday will consist of eight (8) sessions, totaling two (2) workdays per week (16 sessions + unpaid half-hour lunch). The candidate will have eight (8) sessions to complete a workday.
