Overview Dermatology-MOHS Surgery Clinic 40 hours per week The Licensed Practical Nurse – Inpatient/Procedural is responsible for providing safe, high quality care to general care patients as a team member in an assignment supervised by a Registered Nurse. Demonstrates commitment to patient/family engagement and effective communication. Practices consistently with applicable state nursing practice regulations, applicable D-H policies and procedures. Overview Our Behavioral Health Emergency Department unit consists of a 6 beds supporting high risk mental health patients during a critical psychiatric event. Our care team’s priority is to provide therapeutic nursing care in a safe and controlled environment to stabilize their illness while developing a healthy care plan. As the primary nurse, you will work with our crisis team, the psychiatric and emergency physician/nursing team, care managers and security staff. An effective candidate will have a passion for critical care psychiatric nursing, empathy, and demonstrate a compassionate approach, high level of emotional intelligence and be diligent in their work environment to provide one on one support for patient needs. This is a FT (3x12hr shifts) rotating position. Overview The Circulating RN Works collaboratively with Surgical Team to ensure patient safety and positive patient outcomes. Monitor Surgical cases for continued sterility, and support surgical team from outside the sterile field. Thorough and complete intra-operative documentation, as well as case set up and preparation. This specialty works while adhering to AORN standards and practices. Call schedule (after training is complete) for overbook and emergent cases only and at a small critical access hospital with two OR’s and one endoscopy suite. Variable days into evening M-F with no holiday or weekend regular hours.
