Our 164-bed inpatient services for adolescents through senior adulthood offers comprehensive and individual assessments, psychiatric evaluation and medication stabilization, daily group therapy and personalized aftercare planning. We also offer a Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program to ensure the continuum of care for our patients. Old Vineyard is accredited by The Joint Commission and certified by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. We are passionate about our work and are looking for individuals who share in this passion. This opportunity is for full-time (36 hours per week) Registered Nurse (RN). The position offers full benefits and a schedule of two weeknights plus every other Saturday & Sunday 7pm - 7am. This position also qualifies for a $12,000 sign-on bonus. $12k bonus: $1,000 paid after 90-days, $1,500 paid after 6-months, $2,500 paid after one year, $3,000 paid after 18-months, and $4,000 paid after 2 years. Job Duties: Nurse/Patient Relationship: Develops and maintains a therapeutic relationship throughout the healthcare continuum. Nursing Process: Demonstrates the use of nursing process as a problem-solving model. Demonstrates a mastery of clinical skills related to patient’s mental health and physical health needs. Qualifications Job Requirements: Graduate of an accredited college or university of professional nursing. Current NC State Nursing License (or compact state). Minimum one (1) year experience nursing. AHA CPR & First Aid. Knowledge of appropriate nursing assessment, diagnoses, and interventions with patients. Ability to accurately administer medications and treatments. Ability to monitor and record response and side-effects to medications and treatments. Ability to safely implement Special Treatment Procedures. Ability to assist with education of patients and families in medication and care management. Ability to develop therapeutic relationships with patients and families. Knowledge of human behavior or principles of psychology including therapeutic relationships & processes, age specific growth & development, limit setting, crisis & behavior management.
