Summary Occasionally JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE The Registered Nurse (RN) is accountable for utilizing the nursing process to provide safe, age-appropriate, direct and indirect patient care, while practicing within the scope of practice of the Oregon State Board of Nursing. NLH LDRP - Nursery: Knowledge of the physical and psychological changes of the neonate immediately after birth, and during the newborn period. Ability to initiate appropriate interventions in caring for the family during the immediate newborn period. Possess assessment skills specific to the high risk neonate.
