Accountable for the disposal of all bio-hazard materials and “sharps.” Education Qualifications High School Diploma / GED - Required Technical Diploma Surgical Technologist - Required Experience Qualifications At least one (1) year operating room experience - Preferred Skills and Abilities Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing. Ability to prioritize and organize tasks according to Unit's needs. Ability to establish and maintain good interpersonal relationships. Ability to work under pressure. Licenses and Certifications Tech in Surgery - Certified (NCCT) - National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT). - within 12 months - Required or Certified Surgical Technician (CST) - The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA). - within 12 months - Required and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) - issued through on organization that requires a hands-on instructor lead psychomotor skills verification (ex.
