North and South 8 have telemetry capabilities for our patients. Kelemen 8 has frequent admissions and discharges. Kelemen 8 can accept a total of 77 patients. The North side houses 37 patients, and the South side houses 36 patients. There are two negative pressure rooms with an anti-room. There is a pharmacist present on the unit to assist the RNs with medication questions/concerns. Multidisciplinary rounds occur every Monday through Friday. Rounds involve all aspects of the healthcare team, including the patient and family. Additional shifts can be picked up if desired** The Admissions Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for completing comprehensive clinical reviews and assessments to evaluate prospective patients for inpatient behavioral health admission. This individual must be extremely detail oriented. Our Admissions RN ensures timely, accurate and compassionate admission processes, including evaluating medical and psychiatric stability, obtaining health histories and coordinating with interdisciplinary treatment team. The Admissions RN may also complete insurance and financial reviews for prospective patients when needed to promote timely throughput.
