General Statement of Duties : The Registered Nurse Inpatient is accountable for patient care consistent with established nursing practices and hospital policies and procedures. The Registered Nurse Inpatient assesses, develops, implements, and evaluates a plan of nursing care for patients commensurate with training and licensure. The Registered Nurse Inpatient collaborates with other members of the healthcare team, receives direction from physicians and other professional personnel, and supervises and delegates to non-licensed staff. Distributes educational material as appropriate. Completes assigned tasks that facilitate discharge planning.
