Position Summary Provide wound, ostomy, and continence (WOC) nursing in the prevention, health maintenance, therapeutic intervention, and rehabilitative and palliative nursing care to persons with select disorders of the gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and integumentary systems. Description The Nurse Manager (NM) is responsible for the management of nursing practice and operations on a designated unit/service setting such as inpatient, procedural, emergency department or ambulatory care. Works collaboratively with the Center-led Staffing Department as needed to ensure staffing grids are met (as covered by this service) and optimize workforce deployment. 6. Support labor management strategies by collaboratively maximizing retention strategies and internal resource utilization and minimizing reliance on premium labor, verifying that staffing plans maintain quality, safety, and appropriate clinical expertise. 7. Monitors staffing trends and workforce metrics, validating and implementing data-driven recommendations to support informed staffing decisions and continuous workforce improvement. 8. Works collaboratively with physician dyads and all members of the healthcare team to promote patient care and regulatory standards. 9. Prioritizes recruitment and retention strategies in accordance with system and local hospital retention goals. 10.
