Weekend On-Call Policy Purpose of the Weekend On-Call Position: The purpose of the on-call position is to assist the agency with last minute staffing needs. This is accomplished by paying a qualified caregiver to be ready to pick up last minute assignments at any time, for any client scheduled on the weekend. The on-call person will have a company vehicle available or, will receive a gas allowance.
