In this role, you will perform assessments of employee-patient based on his/her physical, psychological and cognitive status while safeguarding the confidentiality of all employee-patients. You'll plan proper nursing intervention, obtains appropriate medical and support services and document according to P.H. policy. In addition, identify employee’s needs for wellness promotion, developing and participating in employee education plans. You will evaluate employee-patient’s lab data, alerting appropriate personnel for abnormal results that threaten the individual and/or hospital staff and patients. Participate in medical surveillance protocols, including blood drawing, giving vaccines, obtaining urine specimens for drug testing, placing and reading tuberculin skin tests, and counseling.
