Weekend and holiday requirements Department Highlights Patients are admitted to this 16 bed unit for chronic medical and palliative care. The patient population consist of patients with multiple acute chronic diseases requiring aggressive treatment such as Copd, Heart Failure, Pneumonia, Infectious Diseases as well as those facing end of life care. Flexible Self Scheduling. This unit is known for it’s teamwork and collaboration. Here’s What You Need Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma of Nursing(required) BSN preferred. Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire (required) Current BLS prior to providing independent patient care.
