Where: Visiting Angels Registered Nurse (RN) to visit client in their homes throughout Burlington County Shift Type: Per Diem Compensation: $70/visit for initial assessment and $60/visit for 60-day visits. Visiting Angels is seeking a New Jersey licensed Registered Nurse (RN) for in-home visits to our clients throughout Burlington County and on occasion some Mercer County clients, as well (optional). This is a non-medical per diem position There are no set hours for this position Our Field RNs prepare thorough and accurate Initial Assessments and Reassessments and develop personalized care plans. SUMMARY OF JOB The Antenatal Registered Nurse must be able to perform all aspects of the nursing process under the Professional Nursing Law. He/she functions as a coordinator and provider of nursing care in the antenatal testing center to the obstetric woman and her fetus, who has a known or suspected at-risk pregnancy. In collaboration with the maternal-fetal medicine physician, the antenatal RN uses assessment, planning and intervention skills to evaluate the patient’s clinical condition, including the use of patient history, diagnostic test results and symptomology during antenatal testing. The antenatal RN communicates, as appropriate, with the patients, obstetric and maternal-fetal medicine care providers, obstetric office staff, perinatal ultrasonographers, genetic counselors, and labor and delivery staff, changes in a patient’s clinical condition and testing results. The antenatal RN serves as a liaison, educator and patient advocate, and functions within individual patient needs, physician orders, Holy Redeemer Health System policy and procedures, and the Pennsylvania Nurse Practice Act. Position Registered Nurse RN -4 PAV (Tele/Ortho) Shift Full-Time, 36-hours per week; Nights (7:00 pm to 7:30 am); every third weekend rotation. Experience 1.1 year of recent RN experience required; telemetry experience prefered. Education RN Diploma, ASN required. BSN preferred. Licensures/Certifications PA RN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact. Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) preferred.
