Provides patient centered care while ensuring accurate HCC documentation to reflect clinical complexity and optimize reimbursement. Nurse Practitioners work within the framework of the State Nurse Practice Act and follow hospital policies and procedures. The nurse practitioner also complies with hospital and nursing standards in the performance of job duties and responsibilities. The nurse practitioner will support the goals and objectives of the department and of the hospital. Required to work primarily the day shift Monday – Friday. This position will also coordinate with hospital leaders, physicians, anesthesiologists, and other multidisciplinary teams to oversee and coordinate the care of the patient.
