The Medical Surgical department provides quality and safe care to patients admitted for acute nursing interventions of 24 hours or more within surgical/medical and oncology services. The highly trained and professional staff treats people recovering from serious illness, orthopedic problems and major surgery. Medication and treatments are provided in a warm and caring environment that facilitates patient recovery. As a Registered Nurse for the Medical Surgical unit, you will have the opportunity to support physician staff within this high-intensity team, where you will provide quality nursing care to patients and coordinate care planning together with other disciplines.
