Provide patient and family education regarding disease management, medication adherence, diet and sodium restriction, fluid management, and symptom monitoring. Strong cardiovascular assessment skills, Device Management (ICD/CRT), Ability to manage complex chronic disease such as Cardiomyopathy, Hypertension post MI heart failure management, and volume overload management. Assist with electrophysiology procedures including-Cardiac Ablations, Pacemaker/ICD implantation, Loop recorder insertion, and Cardioversions. Conduct Pre and post-operative evaluations and monitor procedural recovery and complications. Interrogate and manage cardiac devices-Pacemakers, Implantable ICD’s, and Cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) devices. Review remote monitoring data and adjust device settings according to physician protocols. Educate patients and families on-Arrhythmia conditions, medication, device care, lifestyle modification, and anticoagulation management.
