Provide cost-effective care through appropriate use of supplies, time, and personnel. Participate actively in unit staff meetings. Assist in achieving unit goals and objectives. Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, engagement, and staff retention. Assume Charge Nurse responsibilities as assigned. Supervise, direct, and teach staff as appropriate. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance improvement activities. Participate in the preceptor program and assist with orientation of new staff.
