Our Trauma Center is the only Level I Adult and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center in the Midlands. A 30-bed medical surgical unit primarily geared towards adult patients requiring care after experiencing traumatic injury typically requiring surgical intervention. The standard nurse to patient ratio is 1:4 flexing up to 1:5 as needed. The unit is equipped with telemetry monitoring for up to 7 patients. Our patients are hemodynamically stable.
