The EP RN is responsible for triaging electrophysiology patient concerns via telephone, electronic communication, and in-person encounters. Working closely with electrophysiologists, advanced practice providers, device specialists, and multidisciplinary care teams, the RN assesses symptoms, interprets clinical information, facilitates timely interventions, and coordinates care across the continuum. Additional responsibilities include performing in-office assessments of patients following electrophysiology procedures and cardiac device implantation, conducting tilt table testing, assisting with implantable loop recorder insertions and explant procedures as well as performing stress testing. The RN serves as a key clinical resource for patients with arrhythmias, syncope, cardiac implantable electronic devices, and other complex electrophysiology conditions. Following completion of orientation and competency training, this position offers a hybrid work schedule, combining both remote and on-site responsibilities.
